De ideale politieauto, wat zit er op/aan in?

Volgens het winternummer van dit jaar van Toyota Magazine is de Toyota IQ (ja, dat kleine lelijke aftreksel van een Smart) de ideale politieauto. TM-CS uit Apeldoorn heeft er eentje uitgevoerd als politievoertuig, compleet met striping, LED-balk, ANPR-systeem etc. En alle reacties van passanten waren positief. Zegt Toyota.....

Ik ga toch voor de Carbon motors E7. Met name het idee achter de auto.
Hij is speciaal op maat gemaakt en ontworpen voor de politie wat ik een zeer grote plus vindt. En wat is er nou idealer dan een politieauto die ook speciaal voor de politie gebouwd is?

Nadeel: Hij is voor de Amerikaanse markt, hele andere eisen.

Via de zoek functie kom ik hier uit...

It is estimated that the U.S. law enforcement fleet consumes an estimated 1.5 billion gallons of gasoline and emits an estimated 14 million tons of CO2 annually; the Carbon E7 will cut that by up to 40% using clean diesel technology. Clean diesel is the technically correct solution for law enforcement operations due to its inherent performance, safety, operational, fuel efficiency, and durability characteristics.

Mooi idee om een voertuig vanaf de tekentafel als politie auto te ontwikkelen.
Volgens mij is hier in Europa ook prima mee te werken na wat aanpassingen.
Eventuele reparaties en het onderhoud kan bij de BMW dealer

Een Duitser met achter wiel aandrijving of 4X4 automaat bak, genoeg ruimte ( niet zoals de V50). Genoeg onder de motorkap  ( 500nm of meer). Avls, mobipol, hoogtemeter, lengte meter, pin automaat, verbinding met bvh, geen lichtbalk op het dak maar een paar pitjes,  tekstkrant achterin.
