Woningbrand door hennepplantage

ZAANDAM - Een hennepplantage was zaterdagmorgen omstreeks vijf uur de oorzaak van een woningbrand aan de Hermitage. Twee bovenste woningen van het appartementencomplex in Inverdan zijn uitgebrand. Het nog niet geheel bewoonde complex is tijdelijk deels ontruimd.

Het bestrijden van de brand was lastig, omdat de brandweer door de ligging geen hoogwerker kon inzetten.

Kort na zeven uur werd het sein brand meester gegeven.
