Andre Jones: These bad boys are BAD! Just off the ship. They are call MIRs and being deployed to respond to MCIs and such (there very frequent). There are also a few specialised rescue units coming for CBRNE response.

Andre Jones: This is a distribution supervisor emergency response vehicle. There's one for each zone and a peak, responsible for scene management and other Ops duties. These are called Toyota Landcruiser Prado. Very quick and good in the sand.

Beside the response vehicle are 2 of several critical care units used for bariatric, SHARP and NICU/PICU. I wish I could have gotten a photo of the rear lift and interior! It would make my fellow EMS friends drool. The seating configuration is wicked. Anyways, responded to a few calls and visited all the satellite spoke stations.

Andre Jones: The Mobile Doctor service is at Hub1. There vehicles are similar to the response vehicles but Honda instead of Toyota. Like the Delta response vehicle, beside it are Charlie units with a paramedic driver and critical care paramedic. They do advanced medical interventions and get dispatched automatically based on MPDS determinants with the Alpha (ambulance with dual paramedics).

Andre Jones: A pool unit standing by for shift change next to the Echo units. These are the executive vehicles. Hummmmmm where's mine? Oh. The ambulances carry this ridiculous LifePak and LUCAS CPR.

Andre Jones: Oh there it is! Should be cleaned up and ready to go next week. Lights, sirens, MDT, radio... Bee doo bee doo bee doo. I have a temporary grey one for the weekend. Probably a good thing the temp is unmarked with no lights since I just got my license.

The 12m long bus comes equipped with stretchers and can accommodate eight patients and medical personnel for transport. The mobile hospital has seven treatment areas including beds for the seriously injured, a first aid couch for treating people with minor injuries and a fully-equipped mobile treatment room when there is a need to treat people at the scene or transport them to hospitals.

The bus includes: a vital signs monitor with central monitoring system, infusion pump, breathing apparatus such as centralised oxygen and air supply, independent vacuum and ventilation and a mobile nebuliser. The vehicle is also equipped with ultrasound, wireless mobile X-ray imaging device, cardiac defibrillators, and a wireless ECG machine.

The bus also has an examination couch and orthopaedic operating table with surgical lamp for minor operations.

Other special features include an ENT diagnostic portable set, urine analyser and other laboratory testing devices for the medical personnel working on-board.

Klopt het dat Qatar geen eigen leger heeft maar zich beveiligt door veiligheid te kopen bij internationale veiligheidsbedrijven die als een privé-leger optreden?

Klopt het dat Qatar geen eigen leger heeft maar zich beveiligt door veiligheid te kopen bij internationale veiligheidsbedrijven die als een privé-leger optreden?

Nee.

Het klopt wel dat grootste gedeelte van de militairen buitenlanders zijn. De meeste artsen, verpleegkundigen, brandweermannen, politiemannen zijn ook buitenlanders. Het is niet vreemd omdat Qatari een minderheid in eigen land vormen (minder dan 10% van de totale populatie).
