Lancashire Fire Service have a very unique livery in the UK but sadly the latest trucks they have purchased are in traditional red/battenburg livery as they cannot afford to keep the old livery.

How many Dennis Rapiers are left in service in Holland?

There are some. At the Noord-oost Polder there are 5 or 6 Dennis Rapier vehicles. But there are new vehicles on their way. Fire vehicles in Holland went out of service after 15 of 16 years. The most rapiers are almost at the 15 years, so the most went out of service or still waiting to get replaced.

There are I think 40 Dennis vehicles left in Holland. I Doesn't have a complete list of them.

There have been 2 of these Dennis engines at the firebrigade of Rijswijk: they are all gone now.

In Rotterdam there are no Dennis vehicles. Rotterdam never had Dennis Vehicles before.
in the region of Rotterdam there are Dennis Vehicles left in Hendrik-Idu-Ambacht, Leidschendam(?) and Ridderkerk.


The most Dennis Vehicles are at fire stations of Zaanstreek, Flevoland, Friesland and Noord-Holland-Noord.

There was 1 Dennis in Norg. But it's replaced now. I Think they have an 4x4 MAN Truck now.
