Asbest vrij bij woningbrand in AlphenALPHEN - Een leegstaande woning aan de Wamelseweg in Alphen is in de nacht van maandag op dinsdag door brand verwoest. Ook een loods ernaast raakte beschadigd.

De brand begon volgens de brandweer in de loods en sloeg daarna over naar het woonhuis. Bij de brand is asbest vrijgekomen. Mensen in de buurt hebben van de brandweer het advies gekregen ramen en deuren dicht te houden. Vandaag wordt onderzocht hoever het asbest zich heeft verspreid.

Het is niet bekend waardoor de brand is ontstaan. Het huis stond te koop.
