Austria – Floods (National Civil Protection Authorities)
Due to continuous heavy rainfalls the Provinces of Vorarlberg, Tyrol, Salzburg, Upper Austria and Lower Austria are affected by floods.
The situation in Vorarlberg, Tyrol and Salzburg is improving. The operational measures are still focusing on the area along the River Danube in Upper Austria and Lower Austria where evacuations have been undertaken locally.
The water levels of the Rivers Inn and Enns are declining as well as the level of the River Danube in Upper Austria.
The dykes in the area of Krems in Lower Austria will be reinforced.
The area west of Hainburg is still closed for shipping traffic on the River Danube.
National and international railway connections in parts of the Provinces of Tyrol, Salzburg, Upper Austria and Lower Austria are still affected, numerous roads in the affected regions are blocked.
Czech Republic – Floods (BBC, Environment Ministry, Local Media)
River levels in Prague have reportedly begun to fall; flooding did occur in the suburbs, but the historic centre of the city was protected. The water levels have stabilised in Melnik. Further north in Usti the levels of the Elbe were still rising as of early on 5 June and the situation is still considered critical.
A total of ca. 20,000 people have been evacuated nation-wide.
Germany – Floods (German Civil Protection, Local Media)
While the situation remains critical but stable along the Danube, levels are still rising in Elbe and the peak of the flood wave from Czech Republic is still expected in Sachsen and Sachsen-Anhalt. Preparations are also under way further north, in Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
In Bavaria ca. 9,000 people have been evacuated and many roads and railway lines are affected. An emergency alert is still in place in Regensburg and Deggendorf is reported by local media to be completely cut-off. While the situation seems stable in Passau, water is reported still high in the streets.
In Sachsen, Sachsen Anhalt and Thuringia, 10,000, 2,000 and 3,200 people have been evacuated respectively and many towns are still reported under water. Evacuations took place notably in Bitterfeld and Dresden. The old town of Meissen is reported under water.
Hungary – Flood risk (Hungarian Government, Hungarian Disaster Management)
The flood wave in the Danube is expected to reach Budapest on 9 June. In the afternoon of 4 June a state of emergency was declared in three north-western counties along the river (Győr-Moson-Sopron, Komárom-Esztergom and Pest) as well as in Budapest. Around 100 people have been preventively evacuated from three municipalities in these regions as of early on 5 June.
Slovakia – Floods (National Civil Protection Authorities)
There are severe river floods in Bratislava region, especially in villages and urban areas around Bratislava, which are endangered by the river Danube and Morava. Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMI) declared an emergency for Bratislava, Nitra and Trnava region located in the basin of the Danube and Morava rivers. Water levels are still rising.

Norway: Still ongoing high discharges in many rivers in southern Norway, including downstream part of Glomma.
Sweden: Ongoing high discharges in northern part of the country.
Germany: High discharges of alert level 1 to 3 on the Danube, the Mulde, the Saale, the Elbe, the Elser, the Werra, the Isar, the Rhine and the Main.
Croatia: Ongoing high discharge of alert level 1 on Danube, Drava and Sava rivers.
Germany, Austria, Slovakia: Ongoing extreme discharges on Danube river basin (100 years return period).
Switzerland: High discharge of level 3 nearby lake Constance (Bodensee)
Czech Republic: Ongoing very high dischargers on the Elbe and in the tributaries upstream of Prague (Vltava, Berounka and Sazava).

Maar de verschillende inzetbare modules: high capacity pumping, boat rescue en flood barriers (20 in totaal) zijn snel beschikbaar via de verschillende lidstaten op vraag van de getroffen landen. Verschillende lidstaten hebben al aangegeven klaar te staan voor een mogelijke inzet.
