De boerderij is helaas volledig uitgebrand.
In eerste instantie werd de zoon de huizes als vermist opgegeven aangezien deze telefonisch niet bereikbaar was.
I.v.m. de mogelijke vermissing is ook de lifeliner 4 ter plaatse gekomen.
Gelukkig kon men de jongen later bereiken en bleken er uiteindelijk gelukkig geen slachtoffers te zijn.
Voor zover bekend is er ook onder de aanwezige huisdieren geen slachtoffer gevallen.
Het WTS van Coevorden is wel ter plaatse geweest maar niet ingezet.

Wel bleek er in de pand geweren en munities te liggen voor de jacht. Hier word vandaag nog onderzoek na gedaan.

Onderzoek is voornamelijk gericht op mogelijke brandstichting.
Forensisch Experts van de politie zijn vanmorgen rond half 11 met het onderzoek gestart.
