Gewonden en brand na explosie bij Zincoat in Veenoord

VEENOORD - Er woedt op dit moment brand bij de thermische verzinkerij Zincoat in Veenoord.

De brand ontstond na een explosie rond 8.15 uur. Er zijn waarschijnlijk twee mensen gewond geraakt. Over hun toestand is nog niets bekend. De brand is inmiddels opgeschaald naar GRIP1.

Brand in metaalfabriek Veenoord

In Veenoord in Drenthe is brand uitgebroken in een fabriek. Er zijn meerdere explosies geweest, meldt de politie.

In de fabriek wordt staal voorzien van een beschermende laag.

Het is niet bekend of er mensen aanwezig waren in de fabriek toen er brand uitbrak.
