Almelo- Donderdagavond heeft er een brand gewoed in een berging van een portiekflat aan de Thorbeckelaan in Almelo. De gealarmeerde brandweer had de brand al snel onder controle. Hoe de brand heeft kunnen ontstaan in de berging is nog niet bekend. Bij de brand raakte niemand gewond. De brand heeft een flinke schade aangericht aan de berging.
