Brand op dak door werkzaamheden Laurens Jansz. Costerstraat Oud-Beijerland

Oud-Beijerland – ​Dinsdagavond omstreeks 17:43 uur woedde er brand bij Van Oordt Portion Pack in de Laurens Jansz. Costerstraat . In eerste instantie rukte de brandweer uit voor een brandgerucht aldaar maar bleek na aankomst toch een serieuze brand te zijn ontstaan.

Tussen het dak en het plafond woede de brand, deze bleek lastig te blussen en is daarom opgeschaald naar grote brand. De brandweer heeft met behulp van een hoogwerker de brand geblust. Binnen moest er een gedeelte van een gevel worden gesloopt. Er zal onderzoek gedaan worden naar de oorzaak van de brand. Deze is vermoedelijk ontstaan door werkzaamheden aan het dak.
