#Thermiekstraat betreft bedrijf voor opslag chemische stoffen. In het pand staat een tank in brand. Lijkt onder controle.

#Brand in #Nuth sein brandmeester gegeven. Brand heeft gewoed in opslag paraffine en polypropylene. Geen effect voor de omgeving.

 Vrijdagochtend heeft een grote brand gewoed in een bedrijf aan de Thermiekstraat in Nuth. Omstreeks 05.15 uur kreeg de brandweer de melding van het bedrijf en bij aankomst sloegen de vlammen uit het pand.

De brandweer bestreed het vuur met meerdere voertuigen en kon daardoor voorkomen dat het zich verder verspreide. De brand heeft gewoed in een opslag van parafinne en Polypropylene; grondstoffen die het bedrijf gebruikt voor haar produktie.

Omstreeks 06.45 uur kon het sein brandmeester worden gegeven. Drie personeelsleden van het bedrijf hadden teveel rook ingeademd en werderndoor personeel van de ambulcanedienst behandeld. Ze hadden geen verdere medische behandeling nodig. Het was voor de omgeving niet noodzakelijk maatregelen te nemen. De juiste oorzaak van de brand is niet bekend
