In recent days the storm has tracked northwest in the Bay of Bengal bringing further flooding to parts of the Indian States of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha. Although weakening in intensity, the Category 1 storm is making landfall in Bangladesh today, threatening further flooding and landslides.
