Eleven people died and 12 injured in a fire that broke out on Wednesday in a labour accommodation of a company working on Salwa Tourism Project, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) announced on its Twitter page on Thursday.

“The firefighting team reached the site in record time and evacuated the premises and controlled the spread of the fire to adjacent areas,” according to the MoI.

Op het Duitse muziekfestival Rock am Ring zijn vrijdag minstens 42 mensen gewond geraakt door blikseminslag. Acht van hen zijn er slecht aan toe. Een bezoeker moest gereanimeerd worden.
