The Forest Service is in Unified Command with CAL FIRE, San Bernardino County Fire, San Bernardino County Sheriffs Department, and the California Highway Patrol. The fire is currently 18,000 acres with 700 personnel on scene. 102 engines, 15 crews, 8 air tankers, 2 Very Large Air Tankers (VLATS), and 8 Helicopters, including night flying helicopters. Additional firefighters and equipment have been ordered and will be responding directly to the fire. A National Type 1 Incident Management Team has been requested.

De brand genaamd 'Clayton fire' is in het noorden van Californie en vermoedelijk aangestoken. Hiervoor is een verdachte aangehouden.
A 40-year-old man was arrested Monday and charged with arson in the Clayton Fire, which is blamed for having destroyed more than 175 homes and other structures in northern California, authorities said.
De 'Clayton fire' is ook nog niet onder controle.
