Behoorlijke schade na keukenbrand in Smakt

De brandweer is donderdagmiddag uitgerukt voor een keukenbrand aan de Maasheseweg in Venray. De brand heeft zoveel schade aangericht dat de bewoners tijdelijk elders worden ondergebracht.

Volgens een woordvoerder van de brandweer is de brand ontstaan in de keuken. Wat er precies is misgegaan is niet duidelijk. Ook is het niet zeker of onderzoek wordt gedaan naar de precieze oorzaak van de brand. Er zijn geen slachtoffers gevallen.
