In een woning aan de Schaepmanlaan in Almelo heeft vanochtend een kleine brand gewoed.

De brand ontstond in de meterkast. De brandweer had de brand snel onder controle. De woning heeft wel veel rookschade opgelopen. Er werd ook een dierenambulance opgeroepen omdat er mogelijk nog een hond in de woning aanwezig was, maar dit bleek niet het geval. Niemand raakte gewond.
