That's correct, it's the Adembeschermings-Haakarmbak (ABH - breathing apparatus hooklift-container) ;)
Great photo's Andy!

Thank for your kind words!  ;)

We then travelled to Alblasserdam station. This is a huge fire station and opposite they are working on the next harbour.

This is one of two MAN TGM.15.240 TS's - I do not know who the bodybuilder is for these vehicles.

Late in the afternoon we arrived at Papendrecht, first we photographed the TS - MAN LE14.250 with Hoogstaal bodywork.

For me, I was really pleased to see this vehicle - a MAN 14.192 Turntable Ladder (autoladder) with 100ft Metz ladders. It apparently came from Frederiksberg Fire Brigade in Denmark in 2005.

The body is made by HDS Brandweertechniek (now called Dutch Rescue Vehicles) in Hoogeveen. :)
Great to see vehicles from the region I live (Regio 18) 098uo

This vehicle is out of service since the begin of this year, fire station Papendrecht has taken over this task and get's at the end of this year a new Rescue Vehicle with a heavy crane. O0

Papendrecht was the end of our pre-arranged visits and our party split up and went their different ways. However my friends and I travelled to Dordrecht and to Oranjepark station and hoped to get some photographs. The light was fading quickly though and it was nearly 5pm in the afternoon, and maybe the personnel were busy?

We were very, very lucky - the guy who answered the door was so friendly and helpful. He had been at Oranjepark station for 30 years! Not only did he move the vehicles for photos, but he gave us a full tour of the station. What a fantastic guy!!

This is the Iveco Euro Cargo Combination Vehicle - we have these in the UK and they are not very good. The guy at Oranjepark explained that Dordrecht is an old city with narrow streets, and this vehicle is not suitable.

This is the vehicle I had hoped to see when I planned to visit the Netherlands! The guys at Dordrecht told us it was purchased because of the railways in the city and they have an identical vehicle at Zwijndrecht.
It is a MAN TGS 26.400 with DRV bodywork and Hiab boom.
